About the Author
Storyteller and Dreamer
I’ve always been passionate about storytelling, and even in primary school I was winning prizes for my offerings! I wanted to write a novel and see it published, but it was a world I knew nothing about. Consequently, I found myself working as a legal secretary, struggling to escape from the confines of an office for many years.
But, never say never! Dreams can come true. I'm now in a position to work from home and am proud to have a grand total of five novels under my belt. Number six is also in progress.
On a more personal note, I'm a music-loving, dog-loving, sleep-depraved fifty-something who eats far too much chocolate and enjoys the occasional night out.
I live with my husband, children, massive labrador and mental-as-anything Zakynthian rescue hound in the North West of England but dream of a life by the beach in wonderful Wales.

For my debut novel I wanted to write something sunny, funny, heart-warming, heartbreaking...and with a hefty dose of 80s nostalgia chucked in for good measure!
Louise returns to Cornwall to seek forgiveness from David - thirty long years after they fell in love on holiday and she shattered both their hearts. Newquay has seen many changes since 1984 and the same can be said for Louise and David. She no longer has a bubble perm and Choose Life t-shirt whilst he has transformed into a sexy, silver fox...but can they recapture what they once had? There is also the minor issue of a beautiful wife who's holding on to her husband for dear life...

Inspired by my years on Zakynthos, I decided to pen a novel set on a remote Greek island. There was no shortage of memorable experiences and amusing anecdotes to incorporate and thus, book number 3 was borne.
When an unexpected opportunity presents itself, Jessica is finally able to return to the idyllic island of Loulouthia, accompanied by Scarlett, the original Good Time Girl. They soon settle into Greek life, encountering rude ex-pats, kind-hearted locals and a surplus of handsome men. But Jessica quickly discovers she has the boss from hell and Scarlett isn't at all enamoured with their primitive living conditions.

My fourth novel was inspired by the many years I spent touring the UK in pursuit of my favourite band. I struck up a friendship with one particular band member and back in the day he always sang the same line of my favourite song to me....providing me with memories to last a lifetime and the nugget of an idea for this story!
Kim's ultimate fantasy was to meet Ritchie Joe Clarke, frontman of her favourite band, but never in her wildest dreams did she imagine where it would all lead. Autographs, photographs and intimate moments backstage, but Kim wants more than a plethora of promises and a predominantly physical relationship. One thing's for certain, she's tired of hiding away like a dirty little secret. And there are other secrets about to be exposed, including one that is likely to rock her world!

The Love We Left in Little Hawthorn

​During the 70s/80s/90s, my parents had a caravan on a site near Blackpool where I had a blast, mucking around with my mates and the local boys! It certainly provided me with plenty of inspiration to draw on when writing book number 6.
Head off to the picturesque village of Little Hawthorn, where a reunion is taking place on the Hawthorn Hall Caravan Park. Anna deliberately avoided her girl crew for 25 years but they still welcome her back into the fold, reminiscing about their teenage exploits and the numerous boys they fooled around with..
But returning to Little Hawthorn makes Anna long to see her teenage sweetheart Jamie again, even though she's tried to forget his existence since 1994, when she let him down badly and he subsequently broke her heart.
Can he forgive past mistakes? Can she forget a devastating betrayal? Will Hawthorn Hall heal broken hearts or simply remind Anna and Jamie of all they have lost?
A glorious story of enduring friendships, girl code gone wrong and love that lasts a lifetime.
