Hello again!
Hope you are all happy and well.
Thankfully, it hasn't been so long between blog posts, as this (former) secretary is finally getting better at sorting out her own admin! Good news - at last. My fifth novel, The Love We Left in Little Hawthorn, has been published today and is available to purchase via Amazon. Actually, the big day was in fact Thursday, but what's 48 hours between friends?
If you're wondering about inspiration for this book, I can't look back on my childhood/teenage years without remembering the Lancashire site where my parents owned a static caravan, With its namesake grand hall, Saturday night disco and fabulous public house within close proximity (where the landlord turned a blind eye to underage shenanigans and much mischief was made), it was the perfect place to grow up. The wonderful friends I made on site hailed from towns and villages all over the North West and our paths would probably never otherwise have crossed. The boys in the pub were also far cuter than those at school, so we lived for the weekends and I can honestly say, those years were some of the best years of my life.
So that's how The Love We Left in Little Hawthorn came to be.
Hopefully, you will enjoy this novel, so please do tell your friends and post that amazing review! Indie authors rely heavily on word of mouth, so all those shares, likes and recommendations really do count.
And whilst you are all losing yourself in Little Hawthorn, I shall be wearing my Greek hat again and recommencing book 6. After a wonderful fortnight on Zakynthos in July and some difficult weeks after our return to the UK, I'm more than ready to transport myself back to the Ionian islands. For progress updates, dog photos and other random bits, please check out my socials.
Thank you, as always, for your support and encouragement, which has helped keep me going over the last stressful year. Love & kisses,
Antonia xx
