Sleepless Nights and Sunshine

Good Afternoon!

Hope everyone's enjoying this prolonged sunny spell we are having here in the UK? I love it, although I do hope that summer isn't peaking too soon in 2025.

It's been a year since my last update on here and I don't really know where to begin.

Personally, it's been a difficult one. Our lives were turned upside down last summer after our beautiful daughter became desperately ill, eventually requiring a six week hospital admission. She was discharged in January and we entered the next phase of her recovery, but it's been tough. She still has a way to go but we try to remain positive, despite the challenges we continue to face. We have to remind ourselves what progress she has made over the last few months.

However, throughout this painful journey I have been continuing to write, edit, submit and promote! Despite the sleepless nights and mountains of ,stress, I try to put down a few words every day because ultimately, that's better than nothing!

Consequently, book 5 is now complete and out for submission, but I may decide to self-publish again. Keep checking my socials for updates and news because if I do choose to go down this route, it will happen fairly soon!!

I have also made a start on book 6, believe it or not! It's coming along nicely. Drawing from my previous experience of living on Zakynthos, I am writing a heart-warming story set mainly on the island. My family and I are returning to holiday on Zakynthos this summer, which will certainly come in handy for research purposes!

Furthermore, I have been writing and editing short stories again! If these aren't picked up on submission then I may publish them on this website or even use them to compile another book.

The only thing I'm short of is time as there simply aren't enough hours in a day at the moment!

But I never give up...a writer's got to write!!

Hopefully, better times are ahead for my family...and for the world.
