Local Publicity!

Hi everyone,

Today is a big day for little old me as there is a reasonable-sized article in my local newspaper, The Wigan Observer all about I CALLED HIM DAVID and how I came to write the book. Unfortunately there is also a rather large photo of me that I am going to stick on the fridge to deter me from eating every time I feel the urge!! It's all fantastic publicity though and I'm keeping everything crossed that it leads to more book sales.

Anyway, it's a gorgeous day again here today! Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts I say. I'm stuck inside at the moment though as I'm still working on book number 2...slowly but surely!

We are still trying to arrange the adoption of our "little" lab/pointer cross from Zakynthos...we even passed the home check, despite Jet's best efforts to cause chaos and prove just how high he can jump and how much mud he can spread! Hopefully it will all be sorted out soon.
